“Hold my beer.”

Must not.

Cannot.

Unlawful.

Illegitimate.

Unconstitutional.

Unbecoming.

Unprecedented.

All of these are red flags to the bull that used to be the Republican party. These terms deploy the “Hold my beer” response to a dare. Why would we, the people of the United States, believe those in power would not sink lower yet? Why would we assume these people have any honor or conscience? Almost to a person, Donald Trump’s Cabinet members and those of his stripe in Congress have continually either asserted their approval or claimed to not remember or to not have noticed his deeds.

I’ll be damned if I have to begin referring to my country as the Fascist States of America.

All of them, to a person, need to go. And then we need to redefine the former Republican party, because it’s a lot of things today, but valid is not one of them.
